Glimpse of Budapest

Budapest, the capital of Hungary has to be my favourite city in Eastern Europe so far. It's so
interesting in it's own way, is definitely under-rated and has some incredible spots to explore and
enjoy. We weren't here for very long which left us with little exploring but we explored as much as
we could. Hungary have their own currency, Hungarian Forints which make it cheaper coming from
 other European countries using Euros.

Budapest is well known for it's thermal baths, featuring spring water said to have medicinal benefits.
We spent one of our days here but we also went to one of the summer bath parties during the night
which I highly recommend if you're into drinking, music and swimming!

The food is one of my favourite things about Budapest. Every meal we ate was delicious and we were
definitely not left disappointed. Unfortunately I didn't try their famous goulash dish as it was too hot
for a stew but I did try their famous pastry, kurtoskalacs. Worth trying!
